Public match records

New matches in the current app are public by default. Before each team confirms, we explain that team names, scores and results can appear in GaliStars and on its public website without sign-in. Existing private matches retain their sharing settings. Either team can withdraw sharing in the app. Player discovery choices continue to control profile visibility; a public match does not publish contact information or GPS check-ins. Younger players retain age-appropriate profile protections.

Player connections and private chat

Private messages are available only to mutual followers with allowed 18+ account age declarations. Family chat is not currently activated. If offered for India, it will require players aged 13–17, verified guardian authority and age checks, explicit player safety acknowledgement, accepted team membership and both guardians’ individual contact approvals. Adult-to-minor private messages remain blocked. Guardians can pause or withdraw chat permission without disabling cricket features. Do not use chat for harassment, threats, scams, unsolicited promotion or illegal content. You can block a player and report a specific message for moderation. Blocking or unfollowing stops new messages; earlier shared history may remain. Messages are not end-to-end encrypted. Poize Games may restrict abusive accounts or remove reported content under our moderation rules. Never share passwords or sensitive personal details.

Your account and cricket records

GaliStars is intended for people aged 13 and over. If you are under 18, use the service with the permission and involvement of a parent or legal guardian. Players aged 13–15 must complete our parent or legal guardian approval flow before accessing cricket features. Do not provide a false age or use your own email address as a guardian. Contact support if a saved age range needs correcting.

Provide accurate information, keep account access secure, and use only accounts you are entitled to use. Invite players with their consent. Do not impersonate others, fabricate results, harass participants, upload unlawful content or interfere with the service.

You retain rights in content you provide and allow us to store, process and display it as necessary to provide the requested team, match and sharing features. Only upload photos or icons you have permission to use.

GaliStars records information submitted by authorised participants. Team approval confirms agreement to the match details, not physical attendance, official umpiring or professional verification. Awards reflect the supported nomination/confirmation process. Review squad, scoring and award details with the other team; support can investigate misuse but does not guarantee the accuracy of user-entered records.

Free features, ads and optional Plus

Core team creation, match scoring, saved scorecards, existing career statistics and earned badges are available without a Plus subscription. Free use may include clearly identified advertising. Ads must not be treated as cricket content or instructions to click.

Where available, GaliStars Plus provides ad removal for the signed-in player account, recent-form comparisons, personal match reviews, monthly/yearly PDF progress reports, career-summary totals CSV export, extra branded share-card styles and career analytics for other players who opt into discovery, plus a distinctive subscriber avatar frame and marker. A Plus marker identifies membership, not verified identity or cricket ability. Your own existing statistics remain free. It does not grant scoring authority, captaincy, match approval privileges or bought achievement badges.

Google Play shows the eligible local price and billing period before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled under the applicable Google Play terms. Annual plans are charged upfront. Do not rely on an illustrative price outside the Play purchase screen; no trial is offered unless that screen explicitly says so.

Manage or cancel your subscription in Google Play. Cancellation normally stops future renewal while verified paid benefits continue until expiry. Uninstalling or deleting the GaliStars account does not cancel billing. Restore purchases using the appropriate Google Play and GaliStars accounts; a purchase cannot be silently reassigned to another player's account. For refunds, use Google Play's refund process and contact us for entitlement/support problems.

Availability and updates

Internet is required for account access, approvals and synchronization. Supported offline scoring uses a local queue and must be synced before changing accounts, uninstalling or deleting. Keep your own important records and use supported app versions. We may update the app, perform maintenance, or restrict abusive access. We do not promise uninterrupted service or recovery of unsynced device-only data.

GaliStars is a cricket recordkeeping service, not a betting service, professional certification or substitute for the match's agreed rules and umpires. Nothing here removes consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Privacy, deletion and support

Read our privacy policy for data practices. You can initiate account deletion in the app or through support without the app. Shared cricket figures may remain under an anonymised player label, and necessary billing/legal records may be retained as described there.

We may revise these terms for product or operational changes. The revision date is shown above; material changes will receive an appropriate service notice. Contact support if you have questions before continuing.
